Job Description

Roles and Responsibilities :

  • Suspects, prospects and generates new sales leads from government department/Corporate Clients for IT hardware and networking products including, but not limited to: servers, firewalls, routers, switches, laptop, computer, printers and accessories, video conference, audio conference, audio systems, displays, signage TV, video walls, projectors, interactive displays, security cameras, bio-metric machines, office supplies, IT software, and many others
  • Responsible for an end to end sales process which involves; lead generation, cold calling, meeting clients, prospecting, customer on boarding and finally overseeing excellent after sales services.
  • Generating qualified opportunities for the company by rigorously prospecting and researching in the given region/ market. Implementing lead generation strategies.
  • Execute the B2B and B2C sales strategy, heading the entire sales cycle from lead generation to closure, to meet the sales targets for the designated portfolio.
  • Participate in undertakings tenders/ EOIs and participating in pre-bid meetings and finalising the tender documents and submission thereof.
  • Meet prospective client, execute effective service demonstrations, emphasising service features and benefits with focus on the value of service.
  • Deliver sales pitches and presentations to clients, highlighting the benefits of a product to influence purchase.
  • Develop sales opportunities by researching and identifying potential accounts.
  • Explore and target new business leads and opportunities in hardware domain (government Department/Corporate Clients).
  • Close new business deals by coordinating requirements; developing and negotiating contracts; integrating contract requirements with business operations.
  • Adept at business communication, prospecting, client engagement, sales presentations and sales demos, social media and social selling.
  • Communicate with customers to identify their requirements and assist them with selecting appropriate products that meet their specifications
  • Generating sales funnel for various services/ products offered by the company using knowledge of the market and competitors, identify and develop the company unique selling proposition and differentiators in Prospects in Government Account/Corporate Clients.
  • Mapping clients requirements and providing them with customised business solutions through new proposals, presentations and documents
  • Coordinate with internal and external teams to ensure effective and timely delivery of projects
  • Meet the annual sales target and involvement in actual revenue realisation.
  • Follow Up and Mature cases for Lower one, Comparison and bidding on GEM Portal.
  • Also working on open tenders.

 

Desired Candidate Profile :

  • Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
  • Willingness to make decisions and accept accountability for decisions.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Presentation skills and public speaking skills in-person, telephone, web.
  • A minimum of 1 year of total work experience including experience into government department for IT hardware and networking sales.
  • Experience in selling IT Hardware and Networking products: servers, firewalls, routers, switches, laptop, computer, printers, accessories, IT software and many others.
  • Experience in selling audio video products: video conference, audio conference, audio systems, displays, signage TV, video walls, projectors, interactive displays, security cameras, bio-metric machines, office supplies, such as; AC, Refrigerator, printer, scanner, and many others.
  • Should Have own bike (Must).
  • Negotiating and Closing deals.
